Basic Setup

vTiger+

After performing setups, configurations, and customizations for hundreds of vTiger builds, we have learned a lot about what customers are looking for; what features are lacking; what features are extraneous; what bugs need to be fixed. Rather than performing the same modifications over and over again to each individual build, we are now offering vTiger+.

vTiger+ is our own special vTiger build: nearly 100 fixes, improved default configuration, and the best Boru customizations are all included.

Our goal with vTiger+ is to make vTiger faster, more practical, and more intuitive.

We made the most commonly used features more accessible, because in a large operation, saving one or two clicks on a common operation can add up to an incredible savings over time. And that is multiplied by the number of users in the build. We also simplified access to other users' information. A number of features now allow users to switch between their own data and another user's (provided they have proper permissions). For instance, in vTiger+ you either view individual user's events or all events at once in the Calendar

We changed the standard defaults to the settings that work best, which saves our clients the aggravation of digging through settings menus or code. These default settings range from the Calendar View to Outgoing Email setup.

We removed rarely used modules and buttons, though these can easily be added back.

We added customizations such as our PDF customization and a simplified version of our Google Maps Integration (NOTE: vTiger+ does not include the ability to view other Contacts within a specified radius) and to enhance the feature set.

And finally, we made it more attractive with a custom theme.

Login The difference of vTiger+ becomes apparent as soon as a user arrives at the custom vTiger+ login screen. Custom themes with your own logo start at $100.

Calendar By default, when users enter the calendar they are taken to a Weekly List View. We changed this to Monthly Calendar View. We also added filters to the calendar that allow users to display 'All', 'Pending', or 'Completed' Activities just by clicking the appropriate radio button and select which user's calendar to display via dropdown. You can even choose to view all users' events at once.

Email We made significant improvements to many areas of email in vTiger. Additional settings in the Outgoing Email Configuration allow users to select the outgoing email port, and select email address to auto-CC and auto-BCC outgoing email:

Contact Search Every click counts when it comes to common tasks. In vTiger+, we've simplified the Contact Search process in order to reduce the number of clicks between you and your contact. The search form now appears by default with the most useful fields ready to be filled.
